Scouring pads;
Soiled plastic wrap;

Thermal fax paper;
Toothpaste tubes;
Vacuum cleaner bags;
Wallpaper;
Wrapped broken glass &
 drinking glasses
 ceramics,
 window panes, heat
 treated
 glass, Visionware, Pyrex.

The following items can be
 recycled:

Plastic bottles & containers
 (HDPE & PETE1)
Plastic bags
Glass bottles and jars
Steel & aluminum cans
Clean foil pie plates
Paper milk cartons, Mini
 Sips & Tetra Juice Paks.

 All items are to be cleaned,
 caps removed and placed in
 a  transparent or blue bag.

 Place in separate grocery
 bag, or transparent bag:
Dry & clean paper, news-
 papers, flyers, glossy
 magazines, catalogues,
 envelopes, paper egg cartons
 paperbacks & phone books.
 
 Prefer flattened & bundled:
Corrugated cardboard-
 (corrugated cardboard is
 'waffled' between the
 layers).

The following items can be
 included for composting:

Food Waste: Fruit & veg.
 peelings, food preparation
 scraps, meat, chicken, fish
 shellfish, dairy products,
 cheese, grains, bread, rice,
 pasta, bones, egg shells
 coffee grounds & filter,
 tea leaves & tea bags;
Yard Waste: Grass, leaves &
 brush, small branches &
 plant wastes, etc.;
Boxboard: Cereal, shoe,
 tissue cracker, cookie,
 baking product  &
 compostable frozen food
 boxes, toilet paper rolls,
 paper towel rolls 
 (no plastic);
Soiled & non-Recyclable
 Paper:
 Soiled food napkins, paper
 towels, soiled pizza boxes &
 compostable paper, fast
 food wrappers, wax paper
 file folders, yellow (manila)
 envelopes, paper plates 
 (no styrofoam), damp or
 soiled newspapers & flyers,
 sugar, flour & paper bags;
Other:Sawdust & wood
 shavings.
